Work-search log: how detailed does it need to be? - 3 months and counting

I have been applying to about 8 jobs a week as a line cook, but I am unsure what my state wants in the log. Some days I only network by email or attend a job fair.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
