Work-search log: how detailed does it need to be? - 2 months and counting

I am keeping a spreadsheet of applications, but I worry it is not what the agency expects. It has been weighing on me all week. I also did a résumé workshop at the library.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 2 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
