Work-search log: how detailed does it need to be? - 17 weeks in

I have been applying to about 5 jobs a week as a marketing coordinator, but I am unsure what my state wants in the log. I do not usually post, so bear with me. Some days I only network by email or attend a job fair. Has anyone been audited?

I record the date, the company, the job title, how I applied and any contact name. It takes a minute each and it covered me when I was asked for proof.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
