Work-search log: how detailed does it need to be? - 14 months and counting

The certification asks how many work-search activities I did and I do not know what qualifies. There are 9 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. My state says to keep records for a year. Do interviews and workshops count?

Screenshots of the submitted application are handy backup when a posting disappears.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
