Work-search log: how detailed does it need to be? - 14 months and counting

I have been applying to about 3 jobs a week as an IT help-desk technician, but I am unsure what my state wants in the log. Thank you in advance. Some days I only network by email or attend a job fair.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 14 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
