Work-search log: how detailed does it need to be? - 13 months and counting

I am keeping a spreadsheet of applications, but I worry it is not what the agency expects. I worked as a school bus driver before this. My state says to keep records for a year. Do interviews and workshops count?

I record the date, the company, the job title, how I applied and any contact name. It takes a minute each and it covered me when I was asked for proof.
