Work-search log: how detailed does it need to be? - 13 months and counting

I have been applying to about 7 jobs a week as an administrative assistant, but I am unsure what my state wants in the log. I am in Atlanta, in case local advice matters. My state says to keep records for a year. Has anyone been audited?
