Work-search log: how detailed does it need to be?

The certification asks how many work-search activities I did and I do not know what qualifies. I do not usually post, so bear with me. My state says to keep records for a year. Has anyone been audited?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.

Check the handbook on your state's claim site. It lists what counts in my state, and workshops were on the list.
