Work-search log: how detailed does it need to be?

I am keeping a spreadsheet of applications, but I worry it is not what the agency expects. It has been a long 10 weeks. My state says to keep records for a year. Has anyone been audited?

Screenshots of the submitted application are handy backup when a posting disappears.
