What counts as a work search for weekly certification? - what worked for you?

I am keeping a spreadsheet of applications, but I worry it is not what the agency expects. I worked as a barista before this. I also did a résumé workshop at the library. Do interviews and workshops count?

I was asked for my log once, after six months. Having it in a spreadsheet made it painless.

I record the date, the company, the job title, how I applied and any contact name. It takes a minute each and it covered me when I was asked for proof.
