What counts as a work search for weekly certification? - what worked for you?

I have been applying to about 9 jobs a week as an HR coordinator, but I am unsure what my state wants in the log. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. Some days I only network by email or attend a job fair. Has anyone been audited?

I was asked for my log once, after six months. Having it in a spreadsheet made it painless.
