What counts as a work search for weekly certification? - what worked for you?

I am keeping a spreadsheet of applications, but I worry it is not what the agency expects. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. Some days I only network by email or attend a job fair. What do you record?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 13 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
