What counts as a work search for weekly certification? - what worked for you?

I am keeping a spreadsheet of applications, but I worry it is not what the agency expects. It has been a long 13 weeks. My state says to keep records for a year. Has anyone been audited?

I record the date, the company, the job title, how I applied and any contact name. It takes a minute each and it covered me when I was asked for proof.
