What counts as a work search for weekly certification? - what worked for you?

I have been applying to about 3 jobs a week as a school bus driver, but I am unsure what my state wants in the log. Some days I only network by email or attend a job fair. Has anyone been audited?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
