What counts as a work search for weekly certification? - what worked for you?

I am keeping a spreadsheet of applications, but I worry it is not what the agency expects. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. My state says to keep records for a year. What do you record?

Screenshots of the submitted application are handy backup when a posting disappears.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 7 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
