What counts as a work search for weekly certification? - what worked for you?

I have been applying to about 13 jobs a week as a project coordinator, but I am unsure what my state wants in the log. I worked as a project coordinator before this. My state says to keep records for a year. Has anyone been audited?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
