What counts as a work search for weekly certification? - what worked for you?

The certification asks how many work-search activities I did and I do not know what qualifies. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I also did a résumé workshop at the library.

I record the date, the company, the job title, how I applied and any contact name. It takes a minute each and it covered me when I was asked for proof.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
