What counts as a work search for weekly certification? - what worked for you?

I am keeping a spreadsheet of applications, but I worry it is not what the agency expects. I do not usually post, so bear with me. Some days I only network by email or attend a job fair. Do interviews and workshops count?

I was asked for my log once, after six months. Having it in a spreadsheet made it painless.
