What counts as a work search for weekly certification? (update)

The certification asks how many work-search activities I did and I do not know what qualifies. I worked as a teaching assistant before this. Some days I only network by email or attend a job fair.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 4 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
