What counts as a work search for weekly certification? (Raleigh)

I have been applying to about 8 jobs a week as a machine operator, but I am unsure what my state wants in the log. I do not usually post, so bear with me. I also did a résumé workshop at the library. Do interviews and workshops count?

I was asked for my log once, after six months. Having it in a spreadsheet made it painless.

Check the handbook on your state's claim site. It lists what counts in my state, and workshops were on the list.
