What counts as a work search for weekly certification? (Kansas City)

I am keeping a spreadsheet of applications, but I worry it is not what the agency expects. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I also did a résumé workshop at the library. Has anyone been audited?

I record the date, the company, the job title, how I applied and any contact name. It takes a minute each and it covered me when I was asked for proof.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 2 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
