What counts as a work search for weekly certification? - first time posting

I have been applying to about 18 jobs a week as a web developer, but I am unsure what my state wants in the log. This is my first time dealing with any of this. My state says to keep records for a year. Has anyone been audited?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
