What counts as a work search for weekly certification?, electrician's helper here

I have been applying to about 12 jobs a week as an electrician's helper, but I am unsure what my state wants in the log. My state says to keep records for a year. Do interviews and workshops count?

I was asked for my log once, after six months. Having it in a spreadsheet made it painless.
