What counts as a work search for weekly certification?

The certification asks how many work-search activities I did and I do not know what qualifies. It has been a long 17 weeks. My state says to keep records for a year. Do interviews and workshops count?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 8 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
