What counts as a work search for weekly certification?

I have been applying to about 9 jobs a week as an insurance claims processor, but I am unsure what my state wants in the log. I also did a résumé workshop at the library. Has anyone been audited?

I was asked for my log once, after six months. Having it in a spreadsheet made it painless.
