What counts as a work search for weekly certification? (Dallas)

I am keeping a spreadsheet of applications, but I worry it is not what the agency expects. I am in Dallas, in case local advice matters. My state says to keep records for a year. What do you record?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 14 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
