What counts as a work search for weekly certification? - any advice?

I am keeping a spreadsheet of applications, but I worry it is not what the agency expects. There are 3 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. My state says to keep records for a year.

I was asked for my log once, after six months. Having it in a spreadsheet made it painless.
