What counts as a work search for weekly certification? - any advice?

I have been applying to about 13 jobs a week as a copywriter, but I am unsure what my state wants in the log. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I also did a résumé workshop at the library. What do you record?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
