What counts as a work search for weekly certification? - any advice?

I have been applying to about 9 jobs a week as an HR coordinator, but I am unsure what my state wants in the log. I also did a résumé workshop at the library. Do interviews and workshops count?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
