What counts as a work search for weekly certification? - any advice?

I have been applying to about 17 jobs a week as a project coordinator, but I am unsure what my state wants in the log. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. Some days I only network by email or attend a job fair. Do interviews and workshops count?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
