What counts as a work search for weekly certification? after 8 years as a welding apprentice

I have been applying to about 8 jobs a week as a welding apprentice, but I am unsure what my state wants in the log. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. My state says to keep records for a year. What do you record?

Check the handbook on your state's claim site. It lists what counts in my state, and workshops were on the list.
