What counts as a work search for weekly certification? after 8 years as an event coordinator

I am keeping a spreadsheet of applications, but I worry it is not what the agency expects. My state says to keep records for a year. Has anyone been audited?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
