What counts as a work search for weekly certification? after 5 years as a security officer

I have been applying to about 5 jobs a week as a security officer, but I am unsure what my state wants in the log. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I also did a résumé workshop at the library. Has anyone been audited?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
