What counts as a work search for weekly certification? after 3 years as a welding apprentice

I have been applying to about 3 jobs a week as a welding apprentice, but I am unsure what my state wants in the log. I worked as a welding apprentice before this. I also did a résumé workshop at the library. Has anyone been audited?

I was asked for my log once, after six months. Having it in a spreadsheet made it painless.
