What counts as a work search for weekly certification? after 3 years as a graphic designer

I have been applying to about 3 jobs a week as a graphic designer, but I am unsure what my state wants in the log. There are 3 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I also did a résumé workshop at the library. Do interviews and workshops count?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
