What counts as a work search for weekly certification? after 11 years as a retail manager

I have been applying to about 11 jobs a week as a retail manager, but I am unsure what my state wants in the log. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. Some days I only network by email or attend a job fair. What do you record?
