What counts as a work search for weekly certification?

I have been applying to about 6 jobs a week as a medical assistant, but I am unsure what my state wants in the log. It has been weighing on me all week. Some days I only network by email or attend a job fair. What do you record?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

I was asked for my log once, after six months. Having it in a spreadsheet made it painless.
