What counts as a work search for weekly certification?

I am keeping a spreadsheet of applications, but I worry it is not what the agency expects. It has been a long 2 weeks. My state says to keep records for a year. Has anyone been audited?

I was asked for my log once, after six months. Having it in a spreadsheet made it painless.
