What counts as a work search for weekly certification? - 4 months and counting

I have been applying to about 13 jobs a week as a social media manager, but I am unsure what my state wants in the log. I am in Spokane, in case local advice matters. My state says to keep records for a year. Has anyone been audited?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 4 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
