What counts as a work search for weekly certification? - 4 months and counting

I have been applying to about 17 jobs a week as a procurement assistant, but I am unsure what my state wants in the log. I do not usually post, so bear with me. My state says to keep records for a year. Do interviews and workshops count?

I was asked for my log once, after six months. Having it in a spreadsheet made it painless.
