Waiting 8 weeks on my first unemployment payment after 3 years as a machine operator

I applied for unemployment in San Diego 8 weeks ago and the status page still says pending. I am in San Diego, in case local advice matters. I answered every question and uploaded my final pay stub.

When I finally got through, the agent said my employer had responded late. Once that cleared, back pay came in one payment.
