Waiting 8 weeks on my first unemployment payment - 8 weeks in

I filed my claim 8 weeks ago after being let go as a project coordinator. The page shows my claim as open but no payment date. Has anyone been through this? How long did it take in the end?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 4 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
