Waiting 7 weeks on my first unemployment payment - 3 months and counting

I applied for unemployment in Boston 7 weeks ago and the status page still says pending. I am in Boston, in case local advice matters. The page shows my claim as open but no payment date. What would you check first?

Check the messages section of your claim, not just the dashboard. That is where my request for more information was hiding.

Mine took about 7 weeks because of an identity check I did not notice. Look for a message or a letter you may have missed in your online account.
