Waiting 5 weeks on my first unemployment payment - what worked for you?

I applied for unemployment in Boston 5 weeks ago and the status page still says pending. Any experience at all would help. I answered every question and uploaded my final pay stub. What would you check first?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 3 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
