Waiting 5 weeks on my first unemployment payment, electrician's helper here

I was laid off as an electrician's helper and filed right away, and I have been certifying every week. I answered every question and uploaded my final pay stub. Has anyone been through this? How long did it take in the end?

Mine took about 5 weeks because of an identity check I did not notice. Look for a message or a letter you may have missed in your online account.

Keep certifying every week even while you wait. If they find you eligible, the weeks you certified are the ones that count.
