Waiting 5 weeks on my first unemployment payment (Buffalo)

I applied for unemployment in Buffalo 5 weeks ago and the status page still says pending. There are 18 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I answered every question and uploaded my final pay stub. Has anyone been through this? How long did it take in the end?

Keep certifying every week even while you wait. If they find you eligible, the weeks you certified are the ones that count.
