Waiting 5 weeks on my first unemployment payment - any advice?

I was laid off as a procurement assistant and filed right away, and I have been certifying every week. I answered every question and uploaded my final pay stub. Is there a step I could have missed?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
