Waiting 3 weeks on my first unemployment payment (update)

I filed my claim 3 weeks ago after being let go as a web developer. There are 4 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I called the state line four times and only reached a recording.

Keep certifying every week even while you wait. If they find you eligible, the weeks you certified are the ones that count.
