Waiting 26 weeks on my first unemployment payment - any advice?

I applied for unemployment in St. Louis 26 weeks ago and the status page still says pending. There are 13 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. The page shows my claim as open but no payment date. What would you check first?

Check the messages section of your claim, not just the dashboard. That is where my request for more information was hiding.
