Waiting 25 weeks on my first unemployment payment (Atlanta)

I applied for unemployment in Atlanta 25 weeks ago and the status page still says pending. It has been a long 25 weeks. The page shows my claim as open but no payment date. What would you check first?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.

When I finally got through, the agent said my employer had responded late. Once that cleared, back pay came in one payment.
